Restroom supplies, handled for you

A freshly cleaned restroom loses its shine the moment someone finds the roll empty. Santa Cruz Janitorial handles the supply side, with or without our cleaning: we bring in what your restrooms and breakroom go through, hang the dispensers, and keep them full between visits.

The product range is deliberately short. For the restroom that means toilet paper, seat covers, paper hand towels, soap and sanitizer; for every bin in the building, can liners and trash bags cut to its size. We hang the dispensers too, one style for towels and tissue and others for soap and sanitizer, all supplied by us.

What each area needs

  • Restrooms: a roll on every stall plus a spare, seat covers, soap and paper towels by the basins, and a fresh liner in every bin.
  • Breakrooms and staff kitchens: paper towels and hand soap by the sink, with bags for the trash and recycling bins.
  • Lobbies and waiting areas: a sanitizer station near the entrance and liners for the lobby cans.
  • Stockrooms, back rooms and shop floors: heavy-duty bags for bulky waste and sanitizer near where people clock in.

On the first walkthrough we record every dispenser and bin, room by room, and crews work from that record each time they restock. A warehouse or workshop that adds our industrial and warehouse cleaning gets the same room-by-room record.

Restocking during each clean, if you choose

If our crews also provide your janitorial services and you buy the products from us, the restock happens during the clean. While a restroom is serviced, the crew opens each dispenser, replaces low rolls, refills soap and sanitizer, puts new liners in the bins and brings the backup shelf back to its count. Supervisors look at stock during their routine walk-throughs as well, and when one restroom keeps outrunning its stock, its reserve is raised.

Busy daytime shops and offices can add day porter service for a midday refill round. Prefer to buy your own paper and soap? Crews can restock from the stock you keep on site instead.

Supplies-only delivery

Some businesses keep cleaning in-house, with a facilities lead, a maintenance crew or staff who close up each night. They can still order supplies from Santa Cruz Janitorial without signing up for cleaning at all. Drop-offs are timed to how quickly your building goes through each product, and we carry the cases inside and shelve them in your supply closet.

If business picks up for the season or you open a second location, the next delivery is sized up to match.

Refills matched to the dispenser

Most dispenser trouble starts with the wrong refill. A towel roll a little too wide will jam, and soap meant for another maker’s housing simply won’t seat. For any dispenser we hang, the refills we carry are cut for that unit, which means they slide in on the first try and feed the way they should.

If you like the dispensers you have, they stay. We note each model during the walkthrough and bring refills that fit, replacing a unit only when it’s broken, missing or you ask for something new.

A reserve for each restroom

Par levels keep the backup shelf honest. For each restroom we settle on a fixed backup count, so many rolls and towel packs, so many soap and sanitizer refills, liners and boxes of seat covers, kept in a closet close by. Each cleaning visit or drop-off ends with the shelf counted and filled back to that figure.

Where visitor traffic changes with the seasons, the right count changes with it. A restroom that serves summer visitors can be set with a higher reserve before the busy months, then brought back down once fall comes.

One supplier fewer

Keeping track of paper and soap usually lands on a manager who is already stretched. Handing supplies to us removes the reorder task and the store runs that go with it. The shelves stay full, and a single contact looks after the stock, plus the cleaning too if our crews handle it.

Building type and restroom traffic

Shops, restaurants and offices that open their restrooms to visitors have their busiest hours when customers are in, so a room shared by several storefronts may need towels and soap topped up more than once between cleanings.

Clinic and dental restrooms are used before and after each appointment, while schools, stores and hotels and inns each have their own rush hours. Workshops and light-industrial spaces call for heavier liners for bulky waste, plus towels at the hand sinks where people wash up after bench work.

How supply pricing is set

Five things move the price: the number of people in and out of the building each day, your count of restrooms and dispensers, how fast each item disappears, which quality of paper and soap you want, and whether supplies arrive with our crews or on their own run. The walkthrough ends in a written, item-by-item quote.

A few useful answers

Common questions.

We clean our own building. Can we still buy supplies?

Yes. Supplies can be bought without a cleaning service. We deliver on a schedule set by your usage and shelve everything in your supply closet.

Can stock go up for the summer rush?

Yes. Restrooms that serve visitors get a larger reserve before the busy months, and it returns to normal once the crowds thin.

Do our current dispensers have to go?

No. Refills are matched to the units already on your walls. A dispenser is swapped only if it’s damaged, gone or you’d like a newer one.

Who notices when something is running low?

If we also clean, our crews count stock at every visit and refill the backup shelf, and supervisors look over supply levels when they inspect the work. With delivery only, the count happens at each drop-off.
